Description: download Pipedata for Android play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=b4a.example2 for Ios apps.apple.com/us/app/pipedata/id967807250 in this video we will learn how about the calculation of pipe weight. Weight calculation is depends on Shapes and Materials. Different shapes and materials has different formula for calculating the weight. Some standard formula you can see on your screen. In this video we will understand how to calculate Pipe weight with different materials. Before we start the video we should understand about the density. The density is the measure of mass per unit volume The formula density is Mass divided by Volume. Different materials have different density You can see the densities of most common materials pm your screen. Now let’s move to the pipe weight calculation. In this picture, you can see the pipe with its OD (Outside Diameter) and ID (Inside Diameters). Now moving to the formula of pipe weight calculation. The formula is. Weight (kg) = π/4 x (OD² – ID²) x L x 7850 Density of CS Pipe = 7850 kg/m³ The OD of 4” pipe is 114.3mm and ID is 102.26. Let’s convert into meters So the OD in Meter is 0.1143 and ID is 0.10226 and length is 1 meter as shown in the picture. Now open a calculator and1-meterate the weight. So the weight, of 1 meter pipe is 16.075 kg Similarly if the length is more than 1 meter like 2 meter simply you can change the length from the formula and get the results.
